The views from inside the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel’s newly renovated 43rd-floor Sheraton Club are a delight in every direction, and worth the price of admission.
The Sheraton Centre has been a downtown hotel staple for decades — and a recent facelift should only help draw visitors now that previous pandemic lockdowns appear to be in the rearview.
New offerings include a modernized Sheraton Club showcasing 15,000 square feet of gathering space (exclusive to Marriott Bonvoy Elite members), a new lobby, and revamped food and beverage offerings Dual Citizen and 43 Down, the latter of which is on the verge of being operational.
It’s a complete reimagination, with renovations and enhancements from top to bottom that will continue to roll out throughout the year, marking what the property calls its “most extensive renovation in the hotel’s 50-year history.”

The club’s herringbone wood flooring is simply stunning, while the jewel-toned furnishings work on every level along with some fantastic Toronto-inspired artwork. The space is stylish yet entirely functional, with ample and varied seating and eating areas.
While the Sheraton Club is exclusively for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members, guests can also pay $150 (subject to availability) for access. Included in that per-night fee is parking, an excellent buffet breakfast, a light dinner, and unlimited hot and cold beverages. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase during specified hours.
Dual Citizen is a grab-and-go style restaurant that doubles as a bar and lounge. It’s an ideal place to test out an interesting cocktail or two.
Guests might also enjoy the trillium art installation — the trillium is Ontario’s provincial flower — that hangs from the escalator area.
An updated indoor/outdoor heated pool and garden area is included in the final reimagination phase that is slated to open this summer.
In total, Sheraton has nearly 20 hotels in Canada with six slated for transformation completion by the end of 2023.
