Thanks to its light kerb weight and compact size, the Alto proves to be agile and capable of handling adverse terrains.
Despite being one of the highest-selling cars in the Indian market, Maruti Suzuki recently discontinued the Alto due to non-compliance with BS6 phase-II emission norms, which came into effect on April 1st, 2023. The Alto was powered by a 796cc three-cylinder 47 PS petrol engine and came with a standard 5-speed manual transmission.
