Nothing has published its fourth and final Nothing Phone (1) development video on YouTube. The company has been sharing a look behind the scenes of how the Nothing Phone (1) came to be for weeks now.

The final Nothing Phone (1) development video is out, and it features Tony Fadell

This is the final video in the series, the last one. It features Tony Fadell, the inventor of the iPod and Nothing investor, and a bunch of the company’s employees. A beta tester is also here, and the general focus is on beta testing here.

The video itself is, once again, black and white, like the other videos in the series. It has a duration of about 12 minutes, and we’ve embedded it below the article, in case you’re interested.

This video series was Nothing’s way of sharing the Nothing Phone (1) back story with interested users, while also promoting the phone, and raising hype regarding its launch. The series started before the phone got announced, by the way.

The Nothing Phone (1) is one of the more interesting devices that launched this year, mainly due to its design. The phone includes uniform bezels, and a see-through backplate. There are also over 900 LEDs included on its back. This phone is really easy to recognize in the public.

The phone differentiates most with its design, but it’s specs are nothing to scoff at

Its specifications are not exactly the most powerful around, as this is a mid-range phone, but they are more than respectable. Nothing wanted to make a good phone, but not make you spend a ton of cash buying it.

This is, after all, the company’s very first smartphone, so Nothing wanted to make sure the phone will sell. You can’t exactly ask people to spend a ton of cash on a brand they’re not that familiar with.

It will be interesting to see where will Nothing take the series from this phone. The initial response to the device has been positive. The company seemingly managed to differentiate, and to attract quite a few users.

It’s still early to say whether the phone will be a total success. Its sales will determine Nothing’s future moves, of course.
