The Galaxy S24 is the most anticipated Samsung phone right now, but we all know that the tech giant isn’t putting all its eggs in one premium basket. Samsung is also a low-cost phone developer, and one upcoming budget phone, i.e., the Galaxy A15, has been exposed by the first official leaked renders.

The renders (via Newzonly) reveal a flat phone with an Infinity-U display notch for the selfie camera, three individual cutouts for the rear-facing camera, a flat frame, and the same unusual bump around the side buttons the Galaxy A25 has.

These first official renders also offer a glimpse of a dark blue color option for the low-cost Galaxy A15. However, additional colors, unseen in renders, will also be available at launch. They are black and yellow.

Galaxy A15 won’t run the latest version of One UI

Although the slightly costlier Galaxy A25 will supposedly ship with Android 14 and One UI 6.0, the Galaxy A15 won’t. It will run Android 13 and One UI 5.

The Galaxy A15 reportedly features a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC and 128GB of storage, expandable via microSD. The device is said to be powered by an upgraded 5,000mAh battery with faster 25W charging (up from 15W).

Moving on to the Infinity-U display, it has a 6.5-inch diagonal, an FHD+ resolution, and a maximum refresh rate of 90Hz.

And lastly, the triple camera system consists of a 50MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP depth sensor, while the selfie camera has a resolution of 13MP.

Samsung has yet to confirm these specs, and there’s no known release date, but the Galaxy A15 will supposedly go on sale for around $149.
