A Ford EcoSport caught fire after hitting a tipper truck that was parked on a road. The woman driving the vehicle fell unconcious as her car caught fire. An unknown person saw her and helped her out of the car after breaking the window with a helmet.

The incident happened on the Nagar Pune Road in front of the Aga Khan Palace, Yerwada. At 10:25 AM, the woman driver had hit several vehicles before colliding with the parked tipper. While she did not come out of the car after sometime, an unknown person rushed to the car, broke the window and got the lady driver out of the vehicle.

The security guards at the Shantivan software hub located on the opposite tried to help to bring the fire under control. They used fire extinguishers that they had with the. Soon after, a fire brigade rushed to the spot and helped to douse the fire.

Sopan Pawar, the firefighter, said, “The woman had hit two to three vehicles on the road before colliding with the dumper. Her car’s bonnet went under the dumper, causing the engine to catch fire. After the incident, the woman was found in an unconscious state, and her blood pressure was low. She was immediately rushed to the hospital.”

The reasons for the car catching fire after the incident is not clear. Fire Brigade spokesperson Nilesh Mahajan released a statement and said, “The reason behind the car catching fire is not confirmed, but the woman didn’t realised that her car had caught fire. She was taken out from car by some unknown person who left the spot. Whereas, primarily we estimate that due to high temperature or collision the car might have caught fire.”

Woman might have become unconcious

The fact that the Ford EcoSport hit several other vehicles before finally hitting the truck suggests that the woman might have fell unconcious while driving. It is also possible that she fell asleep on the wheel and could not control the vehicle. Since she was found with low blood sugar, it is highly likely that she lost her senses while driving.
