The Ford’s upcoming compact SUV is expected to hit the Indian road with aggressive stance, featuring a stylish grill at the front with a fully LED headlight setup.

After filling the patent design for the all-time favorite Endeavor in India last month, Ford now has filed another patent design in the mid-size SUV segment.

It has been speculated that the patent design has been fired for EcoSport and is expected to make a comeback in the modern avatar. Some reports also suggested that the brand has big plans for the Indian market. It will start operation with a big lineup and will offer a wide range of choices to the customers. However, concrete confirmation is awaited from the Ford.

New Competition in Mid-Size Segment?

As per the leaked images, the compact SUV looks quite aggressive from the front, featuring a stylish grill, and might hit the market with a fully LED headlight setup and DRLs. It seems like the vehicle might dominate the segment, and will give tough competition to the current hot-selling products including the Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara and Hyundai Creta.

Going by the images, the compact SUV might come with heavy cladding on the side, making it look more aggressive than before. If launched with a similar alloy wheel design patent, it would add a few more feathers to its cap.

Expected Features

As far as the features are concerned, the company might include a long list of trending ones in the list. It includes a wireless charging pad, 360-degree camera, multi-functional steering wheel, dual climate control, and advanced infotainment system, supported by all wireless car connect technology and the list goes on.
