Shubman Gill was one of the fantastic cricketers whose performance set him apart in the current edition of IPL. Here is a video of Shubman Gill from last year that shows the former veteran cricketer Yuvraj Singh making fun of him. Last year, Yuvraj Singh shared a video of Shubman Gill on his birthday where he was making fun of his driving skills.

In the video, Shubman Gill can be seen driving his own Range Rover Velar. The video begins with a scene of Shubman driving the Velar away from the camera, which then pans to Yuvraj Singh standing outside his home in Mohali.

Yuvraj proceeds to explain that instead of maneuvering his SUV back and forth, Shubman takes a U-turn by switching lanes, only to return towards him. Yuvraj playfully mocks this moment, sarcastically remarking on Shubman’s “impressive” driving skills.

Upon Shubman’s return to Yuvraj Singh after executing the U-turn from another lane, Yuvraj requests him to face the camera and explain the move. Shubman casually mentions that he drove the vehicle back to Yuvraj without much delay.

Gill bought the Velar in 2021

Shubman’s Land Rover Range Rover Velar is his personal car, which he purchased last year when the updated 2021 model range was released. The on-road price of the Velar is approximately Rs 1 crore. In India, Land Rover only offers the R-Dynamic S trim level.

The Velar is equipped with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine with mild hybrid technology, delivering a maximum power of 204 PS and peak torque of 430 Nm. The petrol variants feature a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine generating a maximum power of 250 PS. Both engine options are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The Velar is a luxurious SUV that boasts Jaguar Land Rover’s latest Pivi Pro infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, and an active road noise cancellation system.

In addition to the Range Rover Velar, Shubman Gill’s family also took delivery of a brand-new Mahindra Thar in 2021.

Beginning his cricket career as an Under-19 player, Shubman Gill gained prominence in domestic cricket and the IPL before making a name for himself at the international level. The young cricketer purchased the Range Rover Velar as his first car soon after achieving success in the IPL. Furthermore, he, along with four other cricketers, was awarded a Mahindra Thar by Anand Mahindra for their outstanding performance during the 2020-21 Australia tour.

Yuvraj Singh, on the other hand, boasts one of the most impressive car collections among all Indian cricketers. He recently added the BMW X7 to his already envy-inducing lineup. His collection includes a range of high-performance and luxury vehicles such as the Bentley Continental GT, BMW X6M, Lamborghini Murcielago, Mini Countryman S, BMW M3 Convertible, BMW M5, and Audi Q5. Additionally, he recently acquired a striking blue BMW X7, which serves as the flagship SUV from BMW.
