The Galaxy A32 is the last phone in the A3x series to have been split between LTE and 5G variants. The LTE model is now getting a head start on the 5G variant with the latest May 2023 update. The Galaxy A32 (SM-A325N) is now getting the May firmware update in South Korea.
The new firmware for the Galaxy A32 brings the May 2023 security patch and a handful of other improvements. Samsung’s official changelog mentions improvements to the Emergency SOS function, which now lets users turn the countdown function on or off.
Furthermore, the accuracy of location tracking should now be higher. The latest update for the Galaxy A32 LTE carries firmware version A325NKSU3DWE3 and is available in South Korea across different networks, including KT Corporation, LG Uplus, and SK Telecom.
And, of course, the update improves security on the Galaxy A32. The May 2023 security bulletin Samsung revealed earlier this month mentioned a total of 72 fixes for security flaws found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets.
Samsung will likely bring the May 2023 security patch to the Galaxy A32 in more markets in the coming days or weeks. And even the 5G variant might get a similar treatment sooner rather than later.
