Samsung is soon going to launch another Galaxy A-series phone, the Galaxy A34 5G. It is the successor to last year’s Galaxy A33 5G. The Galaxy A34 5G recently picked up Bluetooth certification, and recently, the South Korean version was listed in Geekbench’s database. But if we go by the latest tip, the Galaxy A34 5G’s specifications would surely disappoint you.

According to tipster Yogesh Brar, the Galaxy A34 5G will sport almost similar specs with only a slight variation as compared to the Galaxy A33 5G. The rumored specs of the Galaxy A34 5G include a 6.5-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging support, and IP67 water resistance.

The Galaxy A33 5G is speculated to come in 6GB and 8GB RAM variants and will offer 128GB and 256GB storage options. There will be an in-display fingerprint scanner, and the phone will run Android 13 with OneUI 5.0 out of the box. Speaking of the cameras, there will be a primary 48MP main unit with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. For selfies, the Galaxy A34 5G will come with a 13MP camera.

Coming to the processor, the tipster suggests that the 5nm Exynos 1280 chipset will power the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, which is different from the South Korean variant as it was spotted running a MediaTek SoC on the Geekbench listing. The Galaxy A34 5G is rumored to come in four colors; Graphite, Lime, Violet, and Silver. What’s more important is that the specs are similar to those of the Galaxy A33 5G.

There are only slight differences such as the Galaxy A33 5G comes with a 6.4-inch display and it has a fourth, 2MP depth camera at the back. Also, it has a base configuration of 4GB RAM and not 6GB. Putting it all together, the Galaxy A34 5G isn’t an exciting device, at least if we go by the leaked specs. Of course, we will have to judge the device based on its official specifications and pricing.
