According to reliable tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will measure 154.9 x 67.1 x 13.4mm when folded and 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.3mm when folded. This makes it 0.2mm shorter, 0.2mm narrower (when unfolded), and 0.2mm thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 4. More importantly, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 will weigh 254g, which is 9g lighter than the Galaxy Z Fold 4.
New waterdrop-shaped hinge allows Galaxy Z Fold 5 to be thinner
Thanks to its new waterdrop-shaped hinge, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 folds completely flat, leaving no gap between the two halves of the phone. This makes the phone thinner and more resistant to dust, as dust particles have fewer chances of entering the phone.
