General Electric Co. posted higher sales for the first quarter, lifted by strong demand for the manufacturer’s jet engines amid the continued recovery of air travel.
During the first three months of the year, GE generated cash flow of $102 million, the first time the company has generated positive free cash flow in the first quarter in almost a decade, Chief Executive Larry Culp said.
