Get ready for a 40-minute Nintendo Direct

0 37

Alright, gamers, it’s time to get excited yet again! Nintendo has its Direct presentation every couple of months, and the next one is happening tomorrow. These presentations are usually pretty short, but this next one might be a bit longer. According to The Verge, we should be looking at a 40-minute Nintendo Direct.

That’s a pretty long time seeing as the expected roster of Switch games to finish out the year looks to be pretty light. Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom just launched, so that’s one major release left out. However, that’s not to say that there won’t be a section dedicated to this smash hit release.

The next Nintendo Direct will be a 40-minute show, so what’s going on?

The Japanese gaming company didn’t give us much information about what it’s going to feature. It pointed to about 40 minutes of content surrounding Switch releases. There are some games that we’ve been waiting for for some time- it feels like ages at this point.

One game is Pikmin 4. The Pikmin series hasn’t seen many entries, but it still remains a popular franchise among fans. Hopefully, we’ll either get a trailer, a release date, or a teaser. Something to let us know that Nintendo hasn’t forgotten about it.

Speaking of long-awaited titles, fans have their fingers crossed for news about Metroid Prime 4. The Prime series has been a popular staple in the franchise, bringing it into the 3D world. This game has been floating around for years. We’ve even had Metroid Dread launch in the meantime. Now that people have finished that game, let’s hope for some more Metroid action in the near future.

These are just titles that we’re hoping to be brought up, so don’t take this as an official forecast. The presentation could be about just about anything. The event is happening on June 21st, 10 AM EST.
