GTA 6 trailer launched: Check release date, new characters and all that’s confirmed

 The GTA 6 trailer confirms much of the leaks that have been going around the open-world game while notifying that game is coming to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and Series S in 2025. 

In a statement about GTA 6, Rockstar Games said, “Grand Theft Auto VI heads to the state of Leonida, home to the neon-soaked streets of Vice City and beyond in the biggest, most immersive evolution of the Grand Theft Auto series yet.”

Rockstar Games’ parent company, Take-Two Interactive had earlier informed that the company is expecting around $8 billion net bookings for the game in 2025, reported Bloomberg. Notably, the Grand Theft Auto series which began in 1997 has sold over 400 million so far with the last iteration in the series being released back in 2013. The more than a decade-long release window between the release of GTA 5 and GTA 6 has got the loyal fan base of the game very excited to get any glimpse of the new game. 

Commenting about the game in a conference call with analysts, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick said (as quoted by CNBC), “As the label approaches its 25th anniversary next month, we congratulate Rockstar Games on their constant innovation in the pursuit of the highest quality interactive entertainment,” 

GTA 5 has been the second most-selling video game ever, selling over 190 million copies worldwide and next only to Microsoft’s Minecraft which has sold over 300 million copies, CNBC reported.
