Samsung just held its first Unpacked event of 2023, which brought us a few new smartphones and laptops. So in this post, we’re going to round up everything that Samsung announced at this event.

This is the Spring Unpacked, so there’s typically not a lot of surprises here. And what we’ve seen in recent years is the Galaxy S and the Galaxy Book getting announced here. And that’s exactly what we got this year. The Galaxy S23 lineup, along with the new Galaxy Book 3 lineup.

Samsung Galaxy S23 series

Samsung debuted the Galaxy S23 series today – the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra. They aren’t huge upgrades over their predecessors. The Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+ are essentially the same, with the difference mostly being the sizes. The Galaxy S23 Ultra is the merger of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note lineup. So you’re getting a slightly different design from the other Galaxy S23 models here, and there is also S Pen support included.

The Galaxy S23 has a 6.1-inch display, while the Galaxy S23+ has a 6.6-inch display and a 6.8-inch display on the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Inside, you’ll find the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform for Galaxy, along with 8GB of RAM. The Galaxy S23 starts at 128GB of storage, while the Galaxy S23+ and Ultra will start at 256GB. While the Galaxy S23 Ultra does come in up to 1TB of storage.

Pre-orders for the Galaxy S23 series are live right now from Samsung and other carriers. The devices will ship starting on February 17.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 series

Now with the Galaxy Book 3, we have three new laptops, basically. There’s the Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 and then the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. The Pro models do come in two different sizes, 14- and 16-inch. While the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra only comes in 16-inch.

All three of these laptops come with 3K AMOLED displays, which are going to look amazing on these laptops. They also come with the latest Intel processors. With the Pro models using Intel Iris X graphics, while the Ultra sports the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 or the 4070.

These laptops are also up for pre-order today, starting at $999. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra starts at $2,399.
