HONOR Magic5 series & Magic Vs foldable will launch at MWC, date confirmed
HONOR has just confirmed that the HONOR Magic5 series and the global version of HONOR Magic Vs foldable will launch at MWC 2023 in Barcelona. The company also confirmed the launch date as well.

HONOR will unveil its new flagships on February 27 at 1:30 PM CET / 0:30 PM BST / 7:30 AM EST / 4:30 AM PST. The company will also live stream the event, so you’ll be able to follow along online.
HONOR is using the ‘Unleash the power of magic’ tagline for the event, which is also the official hashtag. The company also released an official teaser image for this launch event, as you can see below.
If we had to guess what this is, we’d say it’s a camera module on the back of the HONOR Magic5 flagship, likely called the Magic5 Pro or Ultimate. If that ends up being the case, we’ll get three cameras on the back, but nothing is confirmed just yet.
We’ve already had the chance to check out the Magic Vs foldable
The HONOR Magic Vs already launched in China, and we had the chance to use the device, briefly. HONOR will unveil its global variant on February 27, with global software, of course. That one will be far more appealing to consumers outside of China.
The HONOR Magic5 series, on the other hand, didn’t launch yet at all, not even in China. It will consist of three phones, based on rumors. The Magic5, Magic5 Pro, and Magic5 Ultimate are tipped to arrive.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will fuel at least one of those phones, if not two. The Pro and Ultimate models have been rumored to include a quad camera setup, not a triple camera setup, so it remains to be seen.
You can also expect 120Hz displays on these phones, along with water and dust resistancee. Plenty of RAM will be included, and various other high-end specs, especially on the Pro and Ultimate models.
