How an Ola Electric Scooter Helped Push a Toyota Innova Crysta to the Petrol Station [Video]

Imagine yourself driving down a highway, and suddenly your car starts showing some trouble. You look into the instrument cluster and realize that the car has run out of fuel, and the petrol pump is not nearby. What do you do in such a situation? People often call for Roadside Assistance or ask other road users for help. There have been instances where people have towed such cars that are stranded in the middle of the road. Here we have a video where a Toyota Innova Crysta that ran out of fuel was pushed by an Ola electric scooter to the petrol station.

The video has been shared by SANDHU DELHI WALA VLOGS on their YouTube channel. In this video, the vlogger was actually out on a casual ride in Delhi and was randomly visiting and stopping at places. He is riding an Ola electric S1 Pro scooter, and it looks like he was riding from Delhi towards Gurgaon or Gurugram. The rider or vlogger helped a couple of rickshaw riders who were struggling to ride up a flyover.

After helping the rickshaw riders, he went ahead, and on a highway, he spotted a person running behind a Toyota Innova Crysta on the road. When he looked carefully, he found that the person was actually pushing the premium MPV, and there was an Ola scooter rider who was pushing the MPV by placing his feet on the rear bumper. The vlogger rode up to the person running behind the car and asked him to stop and sit on the scooter.

The person sat on the scooter, and the vlogger also started pushing the scooter the same way. The vlogger then asked what actually happened. To this, the person responded that the car ran out of fuel, and they were pushing the car to the nearest petrol pump. The vlogger, who was not aware of the location, asked if there was any petrol pump nearby. There was one a few hundred meters ahead. Both Ola scooters were able to push the MPV without any issue.

Electric scooters, as we know, have power and torque available from the moment they move. This helps them in pushing heavy vehicles like the Innova Crysta MPV in this case. Both the scooters pushed the car hard and sent it down a slope. The car gained momentum, and the driver was able to take the car inside the petrol station without any issues. The person sitting with the vlogger thanked both the riders for their help, and then he rode the bike ahead.

This was definitely a good gesture from the riders’ side to help the car driver and occupant. However, we wouldn’t recommend you to do such heavy tasks with your electric scooters on a regular basis. While pushing or pulling heavy loads like a car, the electric motor in the E-scooters goes through a lot of pressure, and that is not a good thing. If you regularly do such stunts with your electric scooter, the life of the electric motor would come down fast, and you may end up spending a lot replacing the same.
