How to get Broccoli and Broccoli Seeds in Stardew Valley 1.6 – Destructoid

0 17

With Stardew Valley 1.6, we’ve been blessed with four new Seeds – one for every season. While they’re not particularly hard to come by, it’s not entirely obvious where to get them at the very beginning. Don’t worry, I can help with the veggie intake, here’s how to get Broccoli in Stardew Valley.

Broccoli is a Fall crop, and once you’ve planted Broccoli Seeds, they take eight days to fully grow. Once mature, Broccoli plants provide additional crops every four days, so it’s well worth setting up a field of these. At base level, Broccoli provides 63 Energy and 28 Health, but this increases depending on the quality level.

There are four main ways to get Broccoli Seeds in Stardew Valley, perhaps the easiest being through Mrs. Raccoon’s store. She sells Broccoli Seeds in exchange for five Moss. Unfortunately, you’ll need to complete at least the first couple of steps in the Raccoon questline for this to be a possibility.

Thankfully, there are other ways to get Broccoli. It can be found in dig spots around Pelican Town, but only if the worms there are green. You can also get Broccoli Seeds from Lewis’ Prize Machine.

The easiest way to get Prize Tickets is by fulfilling special requests when they’re posted on the Bulletin Board outside Pierre’s. Not all of these requests will reward tickets, but the ones that do will display a ticket in the bottom right corner before you accept the request.

You can also find Broccoli Seeds inside boxes and crates within the Mines, so if you’re heading down to deeper floors, make sure to keep an eye out for things that can be broken for the goodies inside.

All of the new crop types – Carrots, Powdermelon, Summer Squash, and Broccoli – have Seeds that can be found in the ways mentioned above.
