How to get Neurodes in Warframe

0 15

Neurodes are an important uncommon resource in Warframe that are quite tough to get. They’re needed fairly early in your journey, and remain a staple all throughout the MMO. Here, we’ll break down how to get a handy supply of Neurodes in Warframe, including the best places and ways to source them.

How to get Neurodes in Warframe

Neurodes are found on Earth, Lua, Deimos, and Eris. Killing enemies or bosses on this planet can yield this resource in either units of one or two. It’s also uncommon, so you will have to do a lot of killing and farming on these planets.

Best places to get Neurodes

If you want to farm Neurodes fast and quickly, try these methods depending on where you’re at in the MMO. Regardless of early, mid, or late game status, there’s always Neurodes somewhere to farm, so progress shouldn’t keep you gated. Depending on your Warframe progression, try one of the following Neurode farm strategies:

Early game Neurodes farm

To farm Neurodes in the early game, head over to the Mariana Exterminate mission on Earth. The enemies range from levels one to three, so it’ll be a cakewalk. This tileset also tends to have high enemy density, so there’s a higher chance of one of the enemies dropping the resource.

Mid-game Neurodes farm

To farm Neurodes in the mid-game, your best bet is to either farm Lephantis on Deimos or play the Tycho Survival mission on Lua.

Lephantis has a higher chance of dropping Neurodes upon killing it. However, if you do not have the proper hit-scan weapons and loadout to take it down, it may take longer than doing the other method.

As for the Survival mission on Lua, you just have to survive here in increments of five minutes. Every five or so minutes, the mission will throw Sentient enemies at you. Upon being defeated, they have a high chance of dropping Neurodes. Just consider their damage adaptations.

End game Neurodes farm

To farm Neurodes in the end game, head over once again to Lua and take on the Steel Path version of the Yuvarium Conjunction Survival mission. Similar to Tycho, you’ll now fight way stronger enemies with higher loot drop rates, including Sentient enemies, the Stalker’s acolytes, and Centurions.

With all the different enemies you’re fighting, this greatly increases your chances of getting Neurodes. Just make sure to have a really strong loadout to survive here.

Other sources for Neurodes

If these places don’t really work for you for whatever reason, you can always farm Fortuna Tier 5 and Steel Path bounties. It isn’t guaranteed that you’ll get them, but it does knock out other ways of progressing in this game.

You can also farm resource caches on Lua, Jupiter, and Kuva Fortress Exterminate missions. Neurodes have a chance to be a C-rotation reward, meaning you have to find all three in one mission.
