Huawei to start building factory in France next year

Citing sources familiar with the matter, a new report from Reuters says that Huawei will start building that manufacturing plant next year, and it will be located in Brumath, which is near Strasbourg. Reportedly, the construction of the factory has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, a source in the French government has said that the manufacturing plant was supposed to open in 2025. Now that the construction would be kicking off late, expect that timeline to be delayed as well.
