Hyundai Creta Knight Edition reaches dealership: detailed walkaround video

Hyundai Creta is one of the most popular mid size SUV in its segment. It has been ruling this segment for years. Hyundai launched the current generation Creta in India back in 2020 and is now due for a facelift. Before the facelift arrives in India, Hyundai has launched an all-black Knight Edition of Hyundai Creta in the market. The Hyundai Creta competes with cars like Kia Seltos, Tata Harrier and lower variants of Mahindra XUV700 in the segment. The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition has already started reaching the dealerships and here we have a detailed walkaround video of one such Creta Knight Edition SUV.

In this video, the vlogger talks about all the changes that are there in the Knight Edition Creta when compared to the regular version. The price for Hyundai Creta Knight Edition starts at Rs 13.51 lakh, ex-showroom and is available with S+ and SX(O) variants. Hyundai has made some cosmetic changes to the SUV that differentiates it from the regular version of Hyundai Creta. The model seen here in the video is S+ variant.

Hyundai Creta Knight Edition gets the same design as the regular Creta SUV. The only noticeable changes are the Red inserts on front grille and front caliper, blacked out front grille and glossy black front and rear skid plates, blacked out door handles, C-pillar garnish, side sill garnish, roof rails, ORVMs, shark fin antenna and blackened tail lamp inserts. The Hyundai emblem is finished in Dark chrome and Dark Metal coloured  alloy wheels and so on. As this is the S+ variant it comes with 16 inch alloy wheels while the SX(O) variant comes with bigger 17 inch wheels.

Hyundai Creta is popular among buyers for its premium looks and features. The Knight Edition is based on the higher variants which means it gets most of the features. The Creta gets features like tri-beam LED projector headlamps, split LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, automatic climate control, 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Panoramic sunroof, multi-function steering wheel and so on. As this is the Knight Edition, the interiors are also dark. It gets all-black interiors with Red inserts on the AC vents. Red stitching on the seats and steering wheel are also added for a sporty look.

Hyundai is offering Creta Knight Edition with both 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5 litre turbocharged diesel engine. The 1.5 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine comes with a 6-speed manual transmission and a IVT gearbox. The 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The price for the 6-speed manual petrol version is Rs 13.51 lakh, ex-showroom and the IVT version is Rs 17.22 lakh, ex-showroom. The diesel S+ variant manual is priced at Rs 14.47 lakh, ex-showroom. The 6-speed automatic transmission is priced at Rs 18.18 lakh. Hyundai has already introduced facelift for Creta internationally and the same is expected to make its way to Indian shores later this year.
