It starts off with the presenter mentioning that he recently visited his local Hyundai dealership and witnessed many people who have already booked the Tata Punch coming to check out the new Exter and asking him about which one is better. He answers that he cannot vouch for any one vehicle. He then states that he is creating this video for those who have a similar question on their minds.

He then starts off the comparison of the two micro-SUVs and states that the Hyundai Exter starts at Rs 6 lakh and goes up to Rs 10 lakh for the top-spec model. Meanwhile, the Tata Punch also starts at Rs 6 lakh but goes up to Rs 9.92 lakh for the top-end variant. The presenter then adds that the Exter is currently available with petrol and CNG drivetrain options, while the Punch is only available with a petrol engine. He further mentions that the CNG variant of the Punch is just around the corner and could be launched in the coming 1-1.5 months.

Following this, the presenter states that the Hyundai Exter is available in 6 variants, meanwhile the Tata Punch comes available in 4 variants. Moving on, he then compares the power figures of both the SUVs and states that the Hyundai Exter comes with a 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces around 83 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. He then adds that the Exter, in the CNG variant, produces 69 bhp and 95 Nm of torque. After this, he moves to the Tata Punch and states that the Punch offers 86 bhp and 115 Nm of torque.

The presenter then talks about the dimensions of the cars and states that the Exter is bigger in height when compared with the Tata Punch, but he adds that the Punch is wider and longer than the Exter. He then compares the fuel efficiency of both cars and states that the Exter offers 19.1 kmpl mileage in the petrol iteration and 27 kmpl in CNG.
