Invincible Season 2 Wows With An Extensive, All-New Cast Poster
At the front of the new “Invincible” poster are both Rudy (Ross Marquand) and Robot (Zachary Quinto), who fans will recall are the same character, only living in two different bodies. Many other regular and recurring characters are also depicted on the poster, including Atom Eve (Gillian Jacobs), Amber (Zazie Beetz), and Cecil Stedman (Walton Goggins).
More surprising, though, is The Immortal (also Marquand), who seems to be living up to his name, being that he has seemingly survived being killed by Omni-Man (JK Simmons) a second time. On that note, conspicuously absent from the poster is Omni-Man, who was last seen heading back to his home planet at the end of Season 1. Whether that means the duplicitous character won’t be in Season 2 all that much, however, remains to be seen.
Fans of the comics will also spot Bulletproof among the characters in the back, wearing his version of the Invincible costume. This confirms that a storyline that many fans had predicted, in which Bulletproof takes over for Mark (Steven Yeun) for a time in Season 2, will indeed be coming up in the next batch of episodes. As for the release date, it has to be soon, right? More or less?
