The primary reason behind this could be that the phones aren’t proper alternatives to full-fledged smartphones. While these come with pre-installed apps like YouTube and WhatsApp, users will not be able to download more apps. With the Jio 5G phone, the company is hoping to solve the issue in partnership with Qualcomm.
