In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Jo Koy expressed his confusion over the backlash, stating, “I didn’t understand the Taylor [Swift] tiff. What hurts the most is me just supporting Taylor, I support her, I love her work. There’s no ill intent in that joke.”
During his Golden Globes opening monologue, Koy made a wisecrack about Swift, comparing the number of camera shots at the awards to those during NFL games.
