Justin Bieber cancelled his Tuesday and Wednesday shows at Scotiabank Arena just hours before he was set to take the stage due to a “non-COVID related illness,” according to the tour promoter.
The Stratford native went on Instagram to write: “Can’t believe I’m saying this. I’ve done everything to get better, but my sickness is getting worse. My heart breaks that I will have to postpone these next few shows (doctor’s orders). To all my people, I love you so much, and I’m going to rest and get better.”
The promoter said the “rescheduled dates for these shows will be announced shortly.”
Bieber’s so-called Justice Tour first hit Toronto on March 25 at Scotiabank Arena.
He also had to cancel his June 10 show in Washington, D.C.
On Tuesday, hundreds of fans were pictured lined up in Yorkville in the rain for a Bieber pop-up shop.
