Kannada actor Darshan takes his Jeep Wrangler for camping

There are many actors in the Indian film industry who are enthusiastic about cars and bikes. We have featured some of these actors on our website in the past. One such actor from South India is Darshan Thoogudeepa, a well-known Kannada actor who also owns a variety of exotic cars. Recently, he was spotted driving a customized Jeep Wrangler, which he uses for off-roading. We have a video where actor Darshan is seen off-roading in his Jeep Wrangler with his friends.

The video has been uploaded by D Company on their YouTube channel. In this video, Darshan and his friends are exploring an off-road trail in their SUVs. The group consists of two Jeep Wranglers, a current-generation Mahindra Thar, an old Mahindra Jeep, and a couple of Ford Endeavour 4×4 SUVs. They start driving through an area with lots of shrubs, and the trail takes them to a riverbed. All the SUVs successfully wade through the river without any issues. The actor and his friends are likely driving the SUVs in Coorg. After crossing the river, the SUVs start climbing up a mud trail and reach a campsite.

On their way to the campsite, they encounter several obstacles such as narrow rocky stretches and wooden bridges. The group carefully drives through these hurdles without much difficulty. While we already know that Darshan is an avid car enthusiast, this video suggests that he is also an experienced off-roader.

Sitting on top of a moving car is dangerous.

While it is evident that Darshan and his friends are having fun while off-roading, there is one issue with this video. The group includes Darshan’s friends and family, and during some of the hurdles, we can see children and men sitting on top of the Jeep while it crawls through the off-road track. This is not recommended as off-road tracks are uneven, and it is uncertain how the car will behave in the next obstacle. If the wheel gets into a pit on the track, people sitting inside the car would be safe as they are wearing seat belts. However, those on the roof would be thrown away. People sitting on the roof can get serious injuries if they fall from the roof of the vehicle.

Additionally, people can be seen standing on the bonnet of the moving car, which is also dangerous for the same reasons. This is not only applicable to off-roading but also equally dangerous for cars on regular roads. We have witnessed many people standing out of the sunroofs of SUVs and sedans. Numerous individuals have been injured while performing such stunts on public roads. Returning to the off-road video, while we appreciate that Darshan and his friends were prepared and had recovery equipment, we do not appreciate children and adults sitting on the roof during off-roading. Recently, we have come across several instances where the police have fined people who performed stunts on moving cars on public roads.
