Kia Carens was launched in the market last year and within a year it became so popular that it received the prestigious Indian Car Of The Year award in 2023. The Carens is marketed as an MPV which competes with cars like Maruti XL6, Hyundai Alcazar and even lower variants of Toyota Innova Hycross. Like other Kia products, Carens is also offered with a variety of features but most of them are limited for the higher models. However, if you own a lower version, there are a variety of customisation options available in the market. Here we have one such Kia Carens which gets customised interiors and modified exterior.

The video has been uploaded by VIG AUTO ACCESSORIES on their YouTube channel. Kia Carens had arrived at the workshop for a headlight upgrade. The owner wanted to upgrade the lights to projector LED units. Along with that, he also opted for some more customisations. The MPV looks stock on the outside but, there are some modifications that make it different from the regular Carens. For example, the stock 15 inch wheels on this Carens were replaced with 16 inch Hyundai N Line units. This was giving the Carens a very sporty look. Similarly, a gloss black footboard was also installed without removing the original mudflaps. This makes getting in and out more easier.

A chrome garnish has been installed on the front fender of this MPV too. The roof has been wrapped in gloss black PPF and there are rain visors with chrome garnish too. At the rear, no modifications have been done to this MPV. Moving in, the Kia Carens now comes with a completely customised interior. The interior is now finished in black and brown dual-tone theme. The steering wheel has been wrapped in dual-tone leather while the upper part of the dashboard gets a brown leather wrap.

The door pads are wrapped in leather and so are the pillars. The fabric seat covers have been replaced with custom made leathrette upholstery. The fit and finish of the seat cover is top notch and it looks like a factory offering. The owner has also opted for ambient lights in the cabin. The colour of the ambient lights can be controlled using a mobile phone application or a remote. The ambient lights are neatly tucked without leaving any panel gaps. The overall finish of the work done on this MPV looks good.
