Kid Drives Electric Jeep on Highway

This video of kids driving an electric Jeep has been shared on Instagram by Ajay Dabhi on their page. It starts off with four kids seen driving a small electric Jeep on a national highway. Two kids were sitting on the front seats, meanwhile one kid was sitting on the rear seat. What was more alarming was that one of the kids was standing in the rear while the vehicle was moving.

Most likely, this vehicle was gifted to the kid driving by his father. It also appears that they were driving this vehicle on the public road for the shoot of this reel. Now although the vehicle in the video is a replica Jeep that doesn’t need a license to drive, it’s meant for closed roads. Most of the other cars on the road were full-sized vehicles which were driving at normal speeds. Thankfully, nothing happens to the kids in the video; however, it is not hard to understand why this is extremely unsafe for them. If any accident were to happen, they could sustain severe injuries.

Upon further digging, it was found that this is not the only video of the kid shared on this page. It has been noted that this kid has been given multiple different miniature versions of real vehicles, and he regularly drives them on public roads. In another one of the videos, he was seen driving a blue-colored motocross-styled bike on the road. In this video as well, he was seen without any safety gear, including a helmet or a riding jacket. Also, there are multiple other videos that show this kid driving numerous different vehicles with his young friends.

Electric Jeep

A few months ago, a video was shared on the internet that showed a custom-built Jeep replica fitted with an electric powertrain. It was stated that this electric Jeep costs Rs 2.6 lakh, which is currently cheaper than a lot of bikes in the country. This Jeep looks exactly like the vintage Willys Jeep that was once extremely popular in India. The presenter of the video who showed this Jeep mentioned that it is completely made of fiber.

It gets a 30-litre boot space in front, 15-inch steel wheels, small storage on the dashboard, and a small digital meter to show the speed and battery percentage. The presenter mentioned that in terms of the powertrain, it gets a 1500-watt EV motor, which generates a maximum of 2 bhp of power and 9 Nm of torque. In terms of the range, the vlogger adds that it offers around 100 km of range in a single full charge.
