There is a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, flat edges and noticeable bezels around the screen. The volume rocker and power button are present on the right edge while the SIM tray is on the left edge. We see a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port, and a primary microphone at the bottom. There is a rectangular module on the back to house dual-camera sensors and an LED flash.

- Processor: The Lava O2 is confirmed to be powered by the Unisoc T616 SoC
- RAM/Storage: The chipset will be paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. There is extendable RAM support and an expandable microSD card slot.
- Display: The handset will sport a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a punch-hole cutout.
- Cameras: The Lava phone will feature a 50MP primary camera on the back. There could be an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. The cameras will have support for portrait mode, Night mode, HDR, Intelligent Scanning, slow motion, etc.
