LG’s new gram Ultraslim is thinner than some smartphones

At CES 2023, LG has announced its new lineup of gram laptops. That includes the gram Ultraslim and the gram Style.

The LG gram Ultraslim is a pretty slim laptop from the company, and it’s the thinnest one yet. Coming in at just 10.99 millimeters. That’s actually thinner than some smartphones – mostly foldables. It’s still pretty light actually, weighing in at 998 grams (about 2.2 lbs). Despite being so thin, the gram Ultraslim still sports a 15.6-inch OLED display, with Anti-glare Low Reflection coating and it also has Intel’s newest 13th Generation Raptor Lake Chip. Making it a powerhouse, that’s also pretty light.

Then there is the LG gram Style, which is the LG gram that we all know and love. It is offered in 14- and 16-inch models. They have an elegant glass design that makes each of the color options shine and shift dynamically. For a pretty cool look on your laptop. There’s also a “hidden” haptic touchpad with soft LED backlighting illuminates at the user’s touch.

Much like the Ultraslim, the Style also comes with Intel’s 13th Gen Raptor Lake chipsets. Along with a Gen3 NVMe SSD inside. Let’s not forget about Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI connectivity being included, as well as Dolby Atmos – a first for gram.

Outside of the Ultraslim and Style models, there is also the regular gram that comes in 14-, 15-, 16- and 17-inch models. These also have the latest Intel 13th Gen processors and Gen4 NVMe SSDs inside.

Pricing & Availability

LG has not yet announced pricing, but the gram is set to go on sale globally starting next month. So we should get details on pricing in the coming weeks.

That’s pretty typical for CES, a lot of products are announced without any real info on when they’ll be available or how much they will cost. but we can bet that the Ultraslim will likely be the most expensive here.
