However, dealing with sand can be a challenge for those who are unfamiliar with it. Here is an example of a tourist who parked their SUV on a sandy surface and ended up getting it completely stuck. Thankfully, locals came to their aid and helped retrieve the car.
The incident occurred when the owner of the car and his friends parked the vehicle on a sandy surface and went to a nearby market. Upon their return, they discovered that the car was stuck. Given the XUV700’s considerable weight, it’s possible that the car sank deep into the sand due to its weight, resulting in the predicament.

As the XUV700 variant in question is front-wheel drive (FWD), the vehicle became completely immobilized. Local residents joined forces and began removing sand from both the front and rear of the tires. Despite their efforts, the tires failed to gain traction and continued to spin.
Additional locals joined the rescue mission as the car remained trapped, refusing to find any grip and free itself. They positioned the car side-by-side and placed sand beneath the tires to lift and facilitate the rescue operation. Finally, with several individuals pushing the car, it was able to break free from the sand. Rescuing the Mahindra XUV700 proved to be a time-consuming endeavor.
It’s worth noting that even the all-wheel drive (AWD) variant of the XUV700 would have likely encountered difficulties in this situation, although it may have been able to overcome them more easily.
Navigating sand can be challenging
