Lower-calorie Galaxy A12 follows Nacho and gets June 2023 update

Not to be outdone by the snack-themed Nacho cousin, the standard Galaxy A12 has started receiving the June 2023 update. As you might recall, the oddly-named Galaxy A12 Nacho received a similar update last week. Now, the variant that isn’t named after tortilla chips is catching up.
So far, Samsung has released the June 2023 security patch for the Galaxy A12 (SM-A125F) in a few countries, including Uzbekistan, Russia, Germany, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Caucasus Countries. Users can identify this new update by firmware version A125FXXS3CWF1.

Even though we don’t have a changelog yet, we can determine from the firmware number that this new update doesn’t include any new One UI features or changes. The letter “S” in the firmware version confirms that the update is all about improving the phone’s security.
This brings us to the June 2023 security patch. Samsung detailed it earlier this month, and according to its security bulletin, this month’s release addresses 64 flaws in total. 53 issues concern Google’s software, while 11 fixes address security issues found in Samsung hardware and software.
The Galaxy A12 was released in late 2020, so this June 2023 update most likely isn’t your first.
