Lucknow Man Urinates Inside Hyundai i20’s Door Amid Heavy Traffic [Video]

0 33

With the number of cars and vehicles increasing on the road, traffic jams are a common sight on Indian roads. Alongside this, we have also started to observe anger issues among people on the road. Drivers or riders are often too impatient on the road, and this results in road rage incidents. However, here we have a video from Uttar Pradesh’s capital where people waiting in their vehicles amidst a traffic jam witness a person deciding to open the door and urinate inside the car’s door.

This was actually captured by someone who was stuck in the same traffic jam. The video seen here has been shared by Araya on her X profile. It is not clear whether the video uploaded by Araya was recorded by her or not. The video is posted with a caption, “Lucknow is not for beginners.” In this video, we see a person standing outside a previous generation Hyundai i20 hatchback with the driver’s side door open.

We can see that all the vehicles are stuck in a traffic jam and are barely moving. It seems like the driver of the car had the urge to relieve himself in the middle of the traffic jam. We really hope that the person waited in the car under the impression that the traffic would soon clear. It was probably when he realized that he was going to be stuck in the jam for a long time that he resorted to such extreme measures.

He got out of the vehicle, left the driver’s side door open, and started urinating in the middle of the door. The video was recorded from a distance and at night, so it is not clear whether the person was urinating on the road or on the door of his car. From where the video is recorded, it appears that the person is urinating on the door, but we could be mistaken.

The comment section of the video is filled with comments both in support and against the i20 driver who performed this act. One social media user commented, “शायद महाशय की मजबूरी होगी ट्रैफ़िक बहुत ज़्यादा था कई बार शारीरिक समस्या ऐसी हो जाती है जिसका कोई अच्छा समाधान ना हो पाए” (The person might have been suffering from some illness that made holding urine in such long traffic jams an issue). Others said the person was uncultured, and some even attributed it to his gender.

We have all been in such situations, but urinating on a public road, especially in the middle of the road while stuck in traffic, is not acceptable. The network of public toilets in our country is not the best. Even if one wants to use a public toilet, they are often not maintained properly. This makes road trips difficult for many women in our country. Fortunately, there are several solutions available to tackle this issue while on road trips or stuck in traffic jams. Emergency portable urination pouches are available online, which one can use in such situations.
