After the Queen of Pop was hit by allegations she has gone under the knife to achieve a younger look, insiders say that she is set on looking “more like her old self.”

“Despite what people think, the criticism over her drastically different appearance does affect her,” a source told Daily Mail.

The insider said that the Material Girl is undergoing procedures that will revive her natural features.

“She sees and hears what people say about her and, for the tour, she wants to look more like herself again for her fans,” the source added.

Critics hit out at the singer after her appearance at the Grammy Awards in February.

The Like a Virgin hitmaker, 64, took the stage to introduce Sam Smith and Kim Petras’ Unholy performance, but all fans could talk about was her face.

“Madonna who? That can’t be her? Can it?” one viewer tweeted.

“I really wish Madonna never touched her face. There really was no reason,” another lamented. “She was going to age beautifully. She’s always been beautiful.”

“This legit looks like a Madonna impersonator with pics of [the] real Madonna in the background. She really f—ed up her face,” another person jabbed.

“Madonna looks good for her age … if her age is 2,700-year-old vampire who eats babies and small animals alive,” a fourth person piled on.

One person went one step further, comparing her to the Jigsaw killer from the Saw horror movie franchise.

Several others urged the seven-time Grammy winner to embrace the aging process.

“Madonna needs to stop with the plastic surgery,” one person wrote. “She’s nearly unrecognizable at this point.”

Earlier in the night, Madonna shared a look at her outfit, in which she paired a black blazer with a white button-up shirt, black tie and fishnet stockings, to Instagram set to Eliza Rose and Interplanetary Criminal’s B.O.T.A. (Baddest of Them All).

“That is not a look,” one person commented, with another adding, “It just does not work from someone old enough to collect a retirement cheque.”

A third noted that without Instagram “filters” she looked “completely different.”

Over the past year, Madonna has shared a seemingly endless chain of odd insights into her private life on social media.

In December, the music legend took to Instagram to post a video of herself adorned in jewelry and wearing a black lace balaclava, suggestive lingerie and sleek gloves as she bit down on a cane.

The month before, she was seen was seen clasping a $3,000 Balenciaga purse while posing topless in thigh-high stockings and a pair of lacy undies.

Meanwhile, just last week, the seven-time Grammy winner confounded fans when she knelt beside a guitar and licked it before seductively stroking the neck back and forth.

Dressed in a lime-green shirt, black bomber and fishnet stockings, the sunglasses-wearing songstress set her latest display to a dance track by online fashion creator Tara Chandra that repeatedly boasted the lyric, “the one c—.”

“This is not Madonna anymore … this is Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs,” one person wrote.

“What have you done to your face? My god,” another fan bluntly asked.

“Sis needs to start acting her age falling for telemarketing scams, dementia, and a retirement home,” a third user swiped.

But the music icon has been dismissive of people attacking her looks saying she is “caught in the glare of ageism and misogyny that permeates the world we live in.”

After her appearance at the Grammys in February led some viewers to claim she was “nearly unrecognizable,” the music legend hit back at her detractors in a fiery Instagram message.

“Instead of focusing on what I said in my speech, which was about giving thanks for the fearlessness of artists like Sam (Smith) and Kim (Petras), many people chose to only talk about close-up photos of me taken with a long lens camera by a press photographer that would distort anyone’s face!!” she wrote.

Quoting Beyonce, she told those criticizing her “You won’t break my soul” and ended her rant with a challenge: “Bow down bitches!”
