The motorcycle appears immaculate, showcasing the excellent restoration work performed on it. The restored Yamaha RD 350 bought by Dhoni boasts a custom British green paint job covering the fuel tank, side body panels, headlamp cowl, and the upper portion of the front telescopic forks.
Adorning the fuel tank of this green Yamaha RD 350 is the “Rajdoot” logo, while the side body panels feature the “350 Torque Induction” emblem. Mirroring the original Yamaha Rajdoot RD 350 from yesteryears, this restored motorcycle features chrome-finished front and rear fenders, round amber turn indicator housings, twin exhaust pipes, and a tubular pillion grab rail. The engine showcases a blacked-out theme, as do the mirrors.
Notably, the fuel tank of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s Yamaha RD 350 also bears the number “7” painted on its top, signifying the iconic jersey number of the former Indian cricket team captain. In one of the Instagram videos shared by Blue Smoke Customs, it is evident that the motorcycle has been packaged and delivered to MS Dhoni, confirming its delivery to his hometown in Ranchi.

In addition to the cosmetic changes, the Yamaha RD 350 LC also received several performance upgrades, including a Lectron carburettor, a VForce4 reed valve system by Moto Tassinari, a Uni air filter, a Zeeltronic Programmable CDI, an NGK spark plug, JL twin exhausts, a Metmachex aluminium swingarm, and an LMC silicone radiator coolant hose. These enhancements aim to improve the motorcycle’s performance and handling on the road.
