The Mahindra Scorpio-N had amassed great public interest after it got unveiled a few weeks ago. And when the bookings for the Scorpio-N started, the new SUV from Mahindra shattered all records by collecting around 1 lakh bookings in just 30 minutes. Needless to say, the new Scorpio-N is the new blockbuster from Mahindra, and now, Mahindra has finally started delivering the Scorpio-N to its customers.

On the auspicious occasion of the first day of the nine-day Navratri fest, the deliveries of Mahindra Scorpio-N have started. Several people, who are taking their deliveries of the Scorpio-N, are posting their delivery experiences on the social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp. Mahindra is delivering all the variants of the Scorpio-N, following the order and priorities of the bookings made.

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N finally got unveiled in India in June 2022 after long anticipation years. Mahindra decided to keep the older generation of the Scorpio by rebranding it as Scorpio Classic, with the new Scorpio-N positioned as a more premium offering with new-generation features. The new Mahindra Scorpio-N is currently the only three-row four-wheel-drive SUV below the Rs 25 lakh mark, which makes it an exclusive combination of a family-oriented vehicle and a fun-to-drive SUV on off-road terrains.

Scorpio-N is plush

Compared to the Scorpio Classic, the new Mahindra Scorpio-N feels plusher with leather upholstery and soft-touch plastics. It gets an array of contemporary features which were not there in the previous iterations of the Scorpio, such as a sunroof, premium Sony music system, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with OTA updates, Apple Carplay and Android Auto, powered driver’s seat, wireless charger and many more. It also gets Mahindra’s new-generation 4XPLOR four-wheel-drive system with multiple drive modes on offer.

The new Mahindra Scorpio-N has arrived with two engine options – a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre four-cylinder diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 203 PS of maximum power, while its peak torque output is rated at 370 Nm with a 6-speed manual and 380 Nm with 6-speed automatic gearbox.

The diesel engine, on the other hand, is available in two states of tune. The lower-spec variants claim 130 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque, while the higher-spec variants claim 175 PS of power and 400 Nm of torque. The diesel engine is also offered with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission options. Also, the 4XPLOR four-wheel-drive system is available only with diesel-powered versions.
