The country’s largest utility carmaker Mahindra’s Scorpio-N quickly took over the hearts of the Scorpio lovers in India. And like the previous Scorpio, the owners of the new Scorpio-N’s have started modifying this recently launched SUV with some great mods. On the first day of bookings, the Mahindra received 1,00,000 reservations in just 30 minutes with most of them being for the Z4 model which is the second base model in the lineup. It was anticipated that this model will be the most demanded model as it comes with decent equipment and modification lovers will give it their personal touches once it starts arriving and this is exactly what’s happening currently.

Recently a video on YouTube was shared by Garage 8427 where they took their standard Scorpio-N Z4 variant and completely changed its look. The channel showcased the video of the modified Scorpio-N finished in a Mafia spec. From the video, we can note that the entire car has been blacked out.

The blackout includes all the window moldings, front grille components, and wheel covers. Additionally, we can note that the front grille has also been given illegal police blue and red lights. Meanwhile on the interior new leather upholstery has also been added. Apart from this not a whole lot details have been shared in the video and the channel has stated that it will be sharing a full video in the coming few days.

The Scorpio-Ns Z4 model is one of the most value for money variants in the entire lineup and as mentioned it is the most sold variant as well. In terms of powertrains, the Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 is available with both a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine options.

The petrol mill in the Scorpio-N Z4 generates a maximum power of 203 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, while the diesel engine offers 175 bhp and 370 Nm of torque. As for the transmission options, the Z4 variant gets a choice between a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The variant also gets an option of a four-wheel-drive system in the diesel-manual iteration of the SUV.

The Z4 variant on the inside comes with a good bit of equipment levels, such as a smaller but colored 4.2-inch MID in the instrument console, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, manual air conditioning, rear AC vents, and a multi-functional steering wheel with audio, Bluetooth, and cruise control switches.

It also comes loaded with useful features such as a sunglass holder and reading lighting. Meanwhile, in terms of the safety tech the Mahindra Scorpio-N Z4 model comes standard with twin front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, electronic stability control, hill start assist, and hill descent control which considering the price is an ample amount of safety features.

In other Scorpio-N news, recently announced a price hike for its SUV. Effective from January 2023 the Scorpio-N, which was launched in June 2022 with introductory prices starting at Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom), will now see prices increase by up to Rs 1 lakh across all its models.
