A few days ago, sudden fog on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE) around Delhi-NCR caused several accidents and pile-ups. Rajat Aroraa was one of the people who was involved in the crash. He posted the pictures of his vehicle and thanked the build quality of the vehicle too.

The owner says that the accident happened on the EPE after the sudden fog shrouded the roads. Due to the blindness, the XUV300 rammed into a truck. After hitting the truck, the vehicle rammed into the toll divider. All the people travelling in the vehicle came out safely with only a few minor injuries.

The pictures show that the vehicle has taken the impact very well. The front-end of the vehicle is completely destroyed and the crumple zones have worked quite well to absorb the impact. While the front-end is completely destroyed, all the pillars of the vehicle are still intact and there is no impact on the A-Pillars too.

The doors seem to be working fine and the passengers came out normally from the vehicle. While the owner did not share any further deteils, he did say that the Mahindra XUV saved him and his family and if it was any other vehicle, it would have been not possible with any other vehicle.

Mahindra XUV300 won G-NCAP’s Safer Choice award

Back in 2020, Mahindra XUV300 became the safest car in the Indian market after scoring higher than the Tata Altroz. The vehicle won the Safer Choice award from NCAP and has become the first Indian car to do so. The award is given to the cars that provide the highest level of safety.

The Mahindra XUV300 received the 5-star Global NCAP rating for adult occupant safety in 2020 soon after its launch in the market. The car also received the 4-star safety rating for child occupant protection. Both the adult safety and child safety score are higher than any other car in the Indian market, which is why the XUV300 received the award. The car was also further tested by G-NCAP for the electronic stability control (ESC) and pedestrian protection requirement. Both these tests are a must for a vehicle to receive the award.

Mahindra currently offers several 5-star rated cars in India including the all-new XUV700, Scorpio-N and Mahindra XUV300. The Scorpio-N became the safest car in India before the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun overtook it. Mahindra also offers the four-star rated Thar and the Marazzo MPV in the Indian market. Marazzo will soon discontinue due to the updated emission norms in India.
