Majority of Indians Choose Petrol-Powered Cars this Festive Season, Says Cars24

It has been reported by the Cars24 that on an average, loans worth of Rs 4.7 crore were disbursed daily on used car segment this festive season.

The auto industry has witnessed massive growth this year in terms of sales. Most of the milestones have been unlocked by carmakers in November, a big credit goes to the festive season. Amid this, the pre-owned car sales numbers also achieved decent sales growth.

The data shared by Cars24, a leading platform for buying and selling cars, revealed that the segment has seen a spike of 88 percent in sales nationwide. The platform has informed that the data, which has been received this year, showed a massive growth compared to the same period last year.

It has been reported by Cars24 that the country has collectively sold cars worth Rs 1,760 crores to them. When it comes to the top performer,  Bengaluru has surprised the officials by taking the top spot in sales, leaving behind all the cities in terms of demand, followed by Kochi.

Mumbai and Pune and Delhi somehow lost the top spot in sales. However,  the cities witnessed the highest demand for cars like WagonR, Honda City, GrandI10, and Baleno.
