The video showing this foolish person driving his Tesla Cybertruck with Apple Vision Pro AR goggles has been shared on X by Secretary Pete Buttigieg who is the Secretary of Transportation. This short video clip shows the driver behind the wheel of the Cybertruck, making gestures while being immersed in the features of the Apple Vision Pro goggles. Buttigieg, in the caption of this post, has emphasized the importance of maintaining control and full engagement in the driving task at all times, especially with the current limitations of advanced driver assistance systems.
Additionally, Apple also explicitly states that the Vision Pro goggles are not intended for use while operating any moving vehicle. Now, while the driver in the video claimed to be using the goggles in a transparent mode for brief intervals, it still does not mean that he was not distracted. Many netizens on the post stated that not only does this pose a danger to the individual driver, but it also endangers other road users.
