Stupid Man Wears Apple AR While Driving Tesla Cybertruck
The video showing this foolish person driving his Tesla Cybertruck with Apple Vision Pro AR goggles has been shared on X by Secretary Pete Buttigieg who is the Secretary of Transportation. This short video clip shows the driver behind the wheel of the Cybertruck, making gestures while being immersed in the features of the Apple Vision Pro goggles. Buttigieg, in the caption of this post, has emphasized the importance of maintaining control and full engagement in the driving task at all times, especially with the current limitations of advanced driver assistance systems.
Additionally, Apple also explicitly states that the Vision Pro goggles are not intended for use while operating any moving vehicle. Now, while the driver in the video claimed to be using the goggles in a transparent mode for brief intervals, it still does not mean that he was not distracted. Many netizens on the post stated that not only does this pose a danger to the individual driver, but it also endangers other road users. A user on the same post also highlighted the fact that the Tesla Cybertruck currently does not have a driver assistance system active yet.
Tesla Cybertruck
For those who may not be aware, the world’s largest electric vehicle manufacturer, Tesla Inc., recently launched the Cybertruck. The company just a few weeks ago finally commenced deliveries of its highly anticipated creation. Its delivery event was hosted with a presentation by Tesla’s CEO, Elon Musk. The Cybertruck in the USA is currently offered in two variants: the base AWD model priced at $79,990 and the more powerful “Cyberbeast” variant priced at $99,990. Additionally, Musk announced plans for a future base-spec rear-wheel-drive variant priced at $60,990, set to be launched in 2025.
In terms of design, the Cybertruck features a unique stainless steel stamped body panel with sharp edges and no curves. Elon Musk claims the truck is bulletproof and offers exceptional durability, with features such as rock-proof windows and windshields. On the inside, the Cybertruck boasts a minimalist interior dominated by a large 18.5-inch touchscreen dashboard, along with a 9.4-inch touchscreen for rear-seat passengers.
The powertrain options of the Tesla Cybertruck include dual-motor and tri-motor variants, delivering impressive performance figures such as 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.9 seconds for the dual-motor variant and 2.6 seconds for the Cyberbeast. Tesla has not disclosed exact battery pack sizes, but the AWD variant offers a range of approximately 340 miles per charge, while the Cyberbeast provides around 320 miles. Optional extender battery packs can further increase range, offering enhanced flexibility for long-distance travel.
