International versions of the phones also received the same build (AXBG). Like in other regions, Samsung’s official release notes in the US also only mention the latest security fixes.
While patch details weren’t available on March 1, the company has now published the content of its latest SMR (Security Maintenance Release) for Galaxy devices. It patches two critical and more than 30 high-severity Android OS vulnerabilities. Additionally, the new security release contains patches for nine Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) items.
SVEs are security issues exclusively affecting Samsung’s Android products. The Korean firm patched issues with AppLock, bootloader, CustomFrequencyManagerService, and other system services.
