Margot Robbie has revealed that there is no proper kiss between her and co-star Ryan Gosling in “Barbie.” The actress portrays the role of Barbie, while Ryan plays Ken. In an interview with People, Margot disclosed how she was teased by her girlfriends when they found out about the lack of a kiss scene between her and Ryan Gosling in the film. She humorously shared their reactions, saying, “Uh, no! That didn’t feel like a win for me. All of my girlfriends were like, ‘Well, you did a whole movie with him, and you don’t kiss? What’s wrong with you? I thought you were kind of in charge on this one! I was like, ‘I know, I can’t check that one off.’”

The movie was released on July 21 and is directed by Greta Gerwig.

After its release, the movie has been receiving immense appreciation. However, it had a clash with Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer,” and both films are performing well globally.

Notably, “Barbie” has also become the highest-grossing movie for a female director, solidifying its place as a trailblazer in the film industry.

In comparison, Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” earned USD 80.5 million (approx Rs 660 crore) during its opening weekend in the USA, leaving “Barbie” far behind in the box office battle, as it managed to gross double the amount in just three days.
