0 24

The Maruti Ertiga, a popular choice for families in India known for its practicality and spacious interiors, has received a sporty makeover courtesy of VIG Auto Accessories. Their “V-Line” modification takes the Ertiga in a bold new direction, targeting a customer who desires a touch of uniqueness and premium-ness alongside everyday functionality.

VIG Auto Accessories has transformed a Maruti Ertiga ZXI into a sportier version they’re calling the “Ertiga Sports.” The most noticeable change is the Indonesian body kit, featuring a three-tone color scheme of silver, black, and satin. This kit encompasses the entire car, adding a more aggressive look. VIG Auto Accessories has uploaded a video on YouTube showing the modification in detail.

The front end sees a significant upgrade with new LED headlights with a smoked effect and crystal DRLs, similar to that of BMW’s design language. Fog lamps are also converted to LEDs surrounded by gloss black garnishes. Completing the transformation at the front is a custom grille and a front splitter, both part of the body kit.

The sides of the car retain the stock Maruti alloy wheels from the ZXI variant. However, side skirts seamlessly integrated with the body kit add a touch of sportiness. It’s important to note that the body kit comes with end-to-end rubber packing, eliminating potential rattling noises. Additionally, roof rails and rain visors are installed for practicality.

The rear of the car boasts a spoiler for a more aerodynamic look. The taillights have been replaced with a unique “infinity taillight” setup, featuring seven LED pieces. The seventh piece, cleverly integrated above the number plate acts as a connected rear taillight, maintaining an OEM look. A rear diffuser, another element of the body kit, completes the sporty transformation at the rear.

Moving inside, the cabin undergoes a luxurious makeover with a Persian green and cream theme. Custom seat covers and door pads adhere to this color scheme, creating a cohesive feel. The main attraction of the interior is undoubtedly the sporty flat-bottom steering wheel, featuring a flat top and a horn pad wrapped in Persian green leather.

Luxury continues with the addition of soft-touch leather on the dashboard, significantly enhancing the quality of the interior. All three pillars are also wrapped in Persian green leather.

There are not any modifications to the engine or any performance mods. The V-Line Ertiga Sports caters to a specific customer segment. This makeover offers a sportier aesthetic and a more luxurious interior for those who want their Ertiga to reflect their personality without sacrificing everyday practicality.

The Maruti Ertiga sold in India is offered with a 1.5 liter-4 cylinder  (104 PS-136 Nm) mild hybrid petrol engine. This engine gets 5 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox options. The Ertiga is also available with a CNG-Petrol dual fuel option.
