Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV modified with air suspension & panoramic sunroof [Video]

0 20

The Indian subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Maruti Suzuki, is India’s largest car manufacturer. Suzuki not only offers its cars in India but also in other international markets. One such product available in both India and other Southeast Asian markets is the Ertiga. This three-row MPV has been in the market for a long time, and the current generation model has not received many updates since its launch in 2018. The Ertiga is among the MPVs popular in the modifying circle outside India. While a couple of modified examples were seen in India, they were mostly of the previous generation. Here, we have a current-generation Ertiga that has been neatly modified with an aftermarket panoramic sunroof and air suspension.

The video has been shared by Boy Aldi on his Instagram page. The video showcases a neatly modified Suzuki Ertiga. This modified Ertiga is not from India; judging by the registration, it appears to be from Indonesia. The white-colored Suzuki Ertiga has been completely customized into a low rider. While the car looks subtle in terms of modifications, there are many minor details that make it special. Let’s start with the front. The front grille on this MPV has been finished in gloss black.

It’s the pre-facelift model that we see here. The Suzuki logo has been retained, and the chrome lower garnish on the grille has been blacked out. The headlights are the next attraction. They have a smoked effect with custom-made LED DRLs in them. The headlights are aftermarket projector units too. Coming to the bumper, it appears stock; however, the black garnish around the fog lamp of the MPV has been modified with an LED strip. The lower part of the bumper gets a body kit that extends the lower lip and gives it a sporty look.

The lower grille has also been finished in gloss black. Moving to the side profile, both the front and rear fenders have been customized. They are slightly wider than the stock units. This has been done to accommodate the new set of wheels. The stock alloys or steel rims have been replaced with aftermarket BBS wheels. The wheels are wrapped with low-profile tires that give it a different look altogether.

The side skirt also adds to the sporty look. The first thing you’d notice in this car from the side is the ground clearance—it’s actually kissing the ground. This has been made possible with the help of an air suspension. The tank and the components to control the height of the suspension are probably placed in the boot. The chrome elements have been completely removed from the car. Another highlight of this Ertiga is the neatly installed panoramic sunroof.

It’s an aftermarket fitment as Maruti Suzuki does not offer the Ertiga with a sunroof. The video doesn’t showcase how the interiors of this car actually look. It’s quite possible that the owner has customized the interiors too. This modified Suzuki Ertiga is definitely one of the coolest looking ones that we’ve seen on the internet. We hope to see similar modifications in India soon.
