Maruti XL6 facelift and Maruti Ertiga facelift in a detailed comparison video

Maruti Suzuki launched 2022 version models of their popular MPV Ertiga and XL6 in the market. Both the vehicles have received cosmetic updates as part of the facelift. While Maruti sells Ertiga through Arena dealerships, the XL6 is offered as a premium MPV and is sold via Nexa dealerships. XL6 is also expensive when it comes to pricing. In this video, the vlogger shows how different both cars are in terms of design and what all extra features does the XL6 get over Ertiga. He starts by comparing the exterior. The cars seen here in the video are both top-end automatic variants. In Ertiga, the car gets a new front grille with chrome garnishes in it. The design of the bumper, headlamp all remain the same. The car gets projector headlamps and regular halogen fog lamps. The XL6 on the other hand gets a much more premium looking front grille which is slightly different from he pre-facelift model.

The headlamps are all LED and it comes with LED DRL, LED fog lamps and a much more bold looking front. Coming to the side profile, the Ertiga gets 15 inch dual tone alloy wheels even with the top-end variant. The XL6 on the other hand now comes with 16 inch alloy wheels with a new design. Both the vehicles have a similar looking side profile design. Dimension-wise, XL6 is slightly longer and taller than Ertiga. Both the vehicles are powered by the same engine and gearbox. At the rear, Ertiga gets the same old tail lamp unit with a chrome strip on the tail gate. The XL6 also gets the chrome garnish and the regular tail lamps have been replaced with smoked LED units. In addition to this, XL6 gets 360 degree camera as well.

Moving in, Ertiga gets the same dashboard and features as before. It comes with a multi-function steering wheel cruise control, updated touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control for higher variants and so on. The ash coloured wooden panel inserts, beige coloured fabric seat covers and so on. Ertiga is available with bench seats in second row and is available with as a 7-seater only. The XL6 on the other hand gets a similar looking cabin layout as Ertiga but in black shade. The wooden panel inserts also present.

The major difference from the pre-facelift model of XL6 and Ertiga is that it now comes with a ventilated seats for the front. It continues to get several captain seats in the second row and the seats and steering are wrapped in black leather upholstery. Both Ertiga and XL6 automatic now gets paddle shifters and the 6-speed automatic transmission. Ertiga is offered with CNG fuel option while XL6 gets petrol only. Both Ertiga and XL6 gets the same 1.5 litre petrol engine that generates 105 Ps and 136 Nm of peak torque.
