May 2022 Update Is Now Available For The OnePlus 10 Pro & Nord N10

0 71

OnePlus is rolling out the OxygenOS A.15 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro. The update brings a couple of bug fixes in addition to the May 2022 security patch. Additionally, the OnePlus Nord N10 is getting an update in the form of OxygenOS 11.0.6, also bringing the May 2022 security patch.

The OnePlus 10 Pro recently received the May 2022 security patch with OxygenOS A.14

The OxygenOS A.15 update for the OnePlus 10 Pro is getting the standard suite of bug fixes and remedies a music playback issue while using Bluetooth car kits. OnePlus sent out the OxygenOS A.14 update to the flagship not too long ago. However, the company pulled back the update for unknown reasons.

The new OxygenOS A.15 update seemingly carries the same changelog as OxygenOS A.14. XDA notes that the update patches a noise bug in audio recordings. Camera improvements are also in place, fixing an overexposure issue on HDR photos. The update also brings optimizations to phone call stability.

OnePlus is also issuing an update featuring the May 2022 security patch to the Nord N10 as part of OxygenOS 11.0.6. This seems to be a relatively minor update, so customers likely won’t notice any significant changes.

The OnePlus 9RT is also getting an update, albeit with the April 2022 security patch

Lastly, the OnePlus 9RT is getting a security update with OxygenOS A.08. However, this update still carries the April 2022 security patch level. It reportedly optimizes the “fluency of sliding desktop in certain scenarios” while fixing an issue with Pocket Mode.

The changelog mentions fixes for a couple of visual glitches on the lock screen and the homescreen. So OnePlus 9RT customers will likely notice the changes immediately with the new A.08 update.

All three updates are available in batches, so they may not appear to all customers right away. Nevertheless, the OTA update notification could pop up sometime this week, depending on your location.

These updates should also be available via OnePlus’ official website for those who don’t mind downloading the updates manually. This process has some risks, so proceed cautiously and backup all your essential data beforehand.
