Meek Mill Shows Off $200,000 Dreamcatcher-Style Dreamchasers Chain

Fresh off parting ways with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Management, Meek Mill took to Instagram on Saturday to show off a Dreamchasers chain.

According to TMZ, the pendant, styled after a Native American dreamcatcher, cost a whopping $200,000. “A very powerful tribe in America,” Meek captioned the picture.

The outlet notes that the piece is “packed with 100 carats of various diamonds – round stones, solitaire emeralds and baguettes on the feather.” Designed by the Atlanta-based Don The Jeweler of Status Jewelers, the chain, which took a year to craft, was hand-delivered to Meek during Rolling Loud Miami last month.

Back in July, Meek split from Roc Nation, where he signed a management deal in 2012. He addressed the news on Twitter, explaining he’s “personally handling” his own business but is still tied to the Roc family.

“All I seen today was meek and roc part ways,” Mill wrote. “I’m personally handling my own business so I can take risk and grow. We came to that agreement together. I have a label deal with roc for my artist and I got reform super tied with them and many other investments wit jigga.”

A few weeks later, Meek announced his intention to release “10 tapes independently” starting in September, with some new music arriving on Aug. 18, the anniversary of Mill’s father’s death.

“10 tapes independently starting September,” he tweeted. “New music dropping August 18 the day my dad died is when I start wylinnnnnnn again! I’m not dropping albums on Friday either!”

Meek reshared the tweet on his Instagram page, captioning the post, “Fuck it ima take the risk…a million behind every project! All sponsors connected to me or my brand tap in immediately I need y’all for this riskkkk ima take!”
