Talking about the expected price range, the GLA might hit the Indian roads at Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Mercedes-Genz is gearing up to introduce the updated avatar of the tech-loaded GLA and GLE Coupe in India. The company has already confirmed the news, where it says the second generation-based model is at its final stage, and will be launched on January 31.

The SUV is expected to come with some noticeable cosmetic changes inside and outside. The customers will get the updated LED headlights setup, uplifted front fascia, revised wheel arches, and redesigned bumper, which will be complemented by an LED taillight unit at the back.

Apart from this, the four-wheeler will carry most of its old-school charm from the front, featuring the company’s signature style grills with a big logo on it.

Interior

On the side, it might remain unchanged, featuring body-color door handles with automatic ORVMS with integrated indicators. From the inside, the SUV will get Mercedes’ latest MBUX touchscreen infotainment system, which will support all wireless car connection technology including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.

Features

It will carry forward some of the premium and advanced features such as a multi-functional steering wheel, multiple airbags, parking sensors with dynamic guidelines, wireless charging, cabin ambient lighting, electric tailgate and whatnot.

Power and Engine

Under the hood, the brand will likely offer a GLA facelift in two-engine options -a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.0-litre diesel unit. The powerhouses will generate a max output of 160 bhp and 187 bhp respectively.

As far as the price is concerned, the GLA might hit the Indian roads at Rs 48 lakh (ex-showroom). However, the company is yet to share the official details about the same.
