Mercedes-Benz is all set to take the ultra-luxury road with its sub-brand called ‘Mythos, which was created two years back. The company is planning to introduce the first car under the brand, which will positioned high above the luxurious Maybach series.
It has been reported that the model will break the cover next year. However, the Mercedes-Benz is yet to reveal the exact time period for the debut.
Upcoming Mercedes-Mythos Model
Ahead of the official unveil, Mercedes-Benz has already dropped the teaser on the digital platforms, giving an idea about the overall design and architecture. The model will hit the road with a super luxurious avatar under Mercedes-Benz’s SL offering. Some of the spec-related details are still under suspense, which are expected to be shared by the company soon.
Expected Engine Options
We expect that the upcoming portfolio by Mythos cars will feature a 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo, taken from Maybach S 680. If not, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 could deliver power to the mode. To note, it is the unit that is used in the AMG GT and Aston Martin DB12.
Expected Price
As far as the price range is concerned, it has been speculated that the model will be far more expensive than the Maybach version. It will fall somewhere under the 300,000 euros mark.
