Microsoft Bing Chat gets new features: iOS Widget and Expanded Language Support for Text-to-Speech

In a recent blog post, Microsoft unveiled the latest additions to Bing Chat. Among the updates is the introduction of an iOS widget for Bing Chat. This widget enables iPhone and iPad users to initiate chats directly from their Home screen, without the need to open the app. Similar functionality has already been available for Android users.

In addition, Microsoft is expanding the range of languages supported by voice in Bing Chat. They have recently introduced text-to-speech support for various Indian languages such as Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Moreover, text-to-speech support will also be extended to languages like Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Filipino, Finnish, Greek, Hebrew, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Irish, Italian, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Maltese, Marathi, Norsk Bokmal, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Ukrainian.

The technology gaint has made enhancements to the voice input button on the Bing mobile app for both iOS and Android. This update improves the performance by ensuring that Bing Chat instantly indicates that it is listening as soon as the button is tapped.

Microsoft consistently enhances Bing Chat by introducing new features and improvements on a regular basis. Recently, they introduced a chat history feature to Bing Chat. This feature enables users to view previous chat threads with the AI chatbot, displayed on the right side of the chat window. Users have the option to rename, delete, export, or share chat threads with others. 

Additionally, the AI chatbot allows users to filter out conversations related to PC files and provides the capability to include charts and visualizations in their responses.
